Not an EXACT fit on a 2002 Jag X Type
I installed this pump in a friend's 2002 Jag X Type. I chose to remove the siphon jet on the opposite side of the tank and use the new lines that came with the pump assembly only to find that the smaller fuel line coupling would not fully engage on the nipple. After taking some measurements I found the coupling was not deep enough. I was stuck with a fuel tank open emitting fumes into the surrounding area so I chose to cut off the faulty end and splice on the old line with the coupling that fit. Had I known this was to be the case I would have cut both lines next to the pump itself, spliced them and skipped the aggravation of dealing with the siphon jet.
Also, be sure to get the correct O-ring seal because the seal ring that came with the pump DOES NOT FIT on a jag X Type!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
