Not a proper fit
I have a 2007 Malibu LT and this website told me that this fuel pump is an exact match for my car.
However, this pump only uses 12 gallons, even though my tank has a capacity of 16 gallons. So now I have to go to gas stations a lot more often.
I know I could of brought it back to the store, but I didn't do that because it took me several hours to replace the fuel pump. I didn't want to go through all of that work again.
With this fuel pump, my gas gauge does not go all the way to the full mark anymore, and because this fuel pump leaves a couple of gallons in my tank when it runs of fuel, I once got my car towed cause of that. In that case, I knew how many miles I got per tank with my last fuel pump and so I didn't think the issue was related to not having enough gas.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
