Correct fuel pump, Wrong connector
This fuel pump is listed as an EXACT fit for a 2001 GMC Sonoma with 4.3l v6 but it is not. Please be aware that while the pump is the correct pump for the application, the electrical connector is different from the factory connector. Delphi includes the wiring diagram, heat shrink butt splices, and new connector to connect it to the truck, but you must splice into the factory wiring harness. Just be aware that you will have to do wiring instead of just replacing pump. Aside from this small installation detail, the pump and sending unit work correctly once it is wired in.
I would use this product again.

It was the problem with my truck not starting. I can't say it w,as great or not great. It's hard to ev aluate something that is under your truck. My truck runs now and that's what I'm concerned about.

Little does the previous reviewer know, Genuine ACDelco products also upgraded their electrical connectors to the new style...as the previous design was inferior and tends to burn up the terminals....hence the additional connector, butt connectors and such for rewiring this item.
This is a 5 Star item.
Delphi and Delco are the ONLY pumps i will purchase for customers cars in GM vehicles.
Spectra and other pumps never seem to meet my expectations when ive tried them.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
