Buy Denso fuel pump, other has no check valve

For a 88 Vette, don't buy carquest fuel pump, it doesn't have a check valve, will not hold pressure, took back and got Denso, worked perfect.
Parts selector will have you purchase the wrong Delphi pump

I will have to return this Delphi fuel pump because it was not the correct Delphi model for my 1990 Firebird Formula 305V8 TBI. The Advance Auto Parts lookup will steer you to this Delphi FE0110 but my car requires the model FE0115. If you attempt to purchase the FE0115 with my Firebird selected as the vehicle, the Advance Auto Parts website will tell you that the fuel pump will not fit when actually it is the correct pump. The 8th character of the Firebird VIN# is an "E" for the FE0115 and an "F" for the FE0110 (according to the Delphi website). The FE0110 is for a fuel injected engine and runs at 44 PSI. The FE0115 is for a throttle body injection and operates around 12 PSI.
