This kit is designed for the replacement of worn or damaged original equipment timing belts, tensioners, idler pulleys and water pumps - each matched to a specific vehicle make and model. In addition, the water pumps feature superior gaskets that retain bolt torque, a roller bearing hub and composite seals to prevent leaks. And the belt included has self-tensioning capabilities required by specific OE drives designed for a "stretch" belt. This belt construction incorporates a wear-resistant EPDM rib material, along with a highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber that surrounds the polyamide tensile cord, thus providing the required adhesion and flexibility to maintain lasting performance.
