Time will tell but there's no reason to believe this belt won't last as intended. This has a little more rib than the "lifetime" belts, but that is good because the lifetime belts are harder to install because the tensioner has to be maxed out and the belt forced on. Because this belt is "normal", it is snug but goes on without a fuss.

Bought the first belt online and it was said to be in stock. Once I got there I was told they did not have it and I would need to come back next day. I picked it up only to find out when I got home that it was too long. Took it back and they were very apologetic and gave me another they thought was right. It turned out to be too short. Ended up going to a competitors store and got the right part first time. I was pleased though with the effort made and the great attitude and professionalism of the employees who I worked with. They gave me the part the computer said would work so it was not their fault the belt wasn't right.
