The Dayco curved radiator hose features knitted reinforcement, a protective sleeve and a synthetic EPDM rubber construction for high-strength performance, protection against abrasion and resistance to oil, mud, salt, road debris, ozone and coolants. It can also withstand temperature variations of -40 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C) to +257 Deg. F (+125 Deg. C). The inner base tube is reinforced with knitted rayon for maximum strength and burst resistance for the life of the hose.

It's a hose
Hoses. Replace every five years regardless of how they look and feel. Nothing worse than to have a problem that you end up having to fix on the side of the road when you could have easily taken care of in your drive way. Fortunately this has never happened to me, but I've seen my share of hose problems over the years.

when i pick up the hose from the store i had the old hose with me. the new hose look different from the old one and the guy from the store said it may look a little different but it will fit. well i get home and start to install the hose and it did not fit. i had to cut off part of the hose so it would fit.

Fit just like the original. For this car (01 grand caravan) I decided to buy a new tool, a pair of clamp pliers (cable actuated). The new tool made getting the radiator side of the hose clamp off very easy. Recommend getting one of those, and you can forget about buying new clamps - just reuse the originals.
