Specifically Designed for Throttle Body
Throttle Body and Air-Intake Cleaner by CRC is specifically designed for use on the Throttle Body.
This cleaner should not be confused with carburetor cleaner. If you need to clean your throttle body than the purchase should pay for itself with the regain in engine performance and additional miles per gallon. This product effectively dissolves the accumulated harmful and performance robbing deposits. This is designed for the basic surface cleanup.
Some usage and clean up tips are to place an absorbent towel under the area being cleaned to capture the removed gunk, and cover any painted, plastic, or delicate surfaces from over spray. This product is not paint friendly.
Inhalation hazard so use in a well ventilated area.

Not that great
Its not that good. After scrubbing throttle body with a toothbrush it doesn't wash away the grime with a spray. It wont even clean the toothbrush after scrubbing. So you can forget about it cleaning the air intake in the areas you can't reach with a toothbrush

works great. i started having problems with my yukon idling rough and cutting off after i replaced the air filter with a k&n. i used the crf to clean the throttle body and it solved the problem.

Used it on my 2003 Ford Windstar. Van and the Air conditioner were working fine at higher engine RPMs, but at low RPMS my van was stalling, and the battery and engine lights were coming up as well, I used this to clean the throttle and also bought MAF cleaner (Mass Air flow Sensor) cleaner from Advanced Auto, after cleaning both throttle and MAF sensor my van runs like new, better mileage, better and smoother idle and air conditioner runs all the time, no need to turn it off at low rpms. Great, great great products, thanks Advanced auto.
