Air filter shaped fuel filters are the way of the future
In an attempt to thwart the fuel filter demons, the brilliant minds at carquest have designed this Hyundai fuel filter to look identical to an air filter. Causing confusion among the masses, only the most experienced technicians know how to properly disarm the cloaking unit, install the filter, and have it in an eternal shroud of concealment henceforth and forevermore. Would highly recommend.

Thought I'd save a few bucks, and bought this filter; big mistake. I had a huge problem getting this filter in because the edge material, which is the same material as the filter, is very thick; so much so, I had a terrible problem getting the two 'hinge blocks' at the engine side to clip into place while keeping the filter in position. After finally forcing them into place, I found the stock screws too short to reach the nut. Thank goodness, I had a couple of longer screws that fit. Filters I've used in the past had a rubber seal around the edge thinner and molded to fit the box housing.

Air Filter will not fit a 2014 Ford Escape. Worked on it for about 30 min. trying to get if to fit but could never get the housing to close over the filter. Driver side of filter is about 1/8 of an inch to long and every time I got it inside the lower lip of the housing it would come loose during assy. I cleaned the old one and put it back in ( took about 20 sec.) and ordered new OEM.

Does not fit 2013 Camry
I purchased this air filter for a 2013 Toyota Camry and it did not fit. Even worse, when I tried to return it to the store they said it was non-refundable because it had gotten some dirt on it when I installed it even though it was advertised as an "exact fit" for my car. Lesson learned, go with genuine manufacturer parts. The manufacturer replacement part was the same price if I had only thought to look first.

Selector is wrong. This is too big and fat to fit Toyota Highlander Hybrid.

Does Not Fit 2017 Camry
The length and width are correct, but the rubber edge of the filter is too thick to put the cover back on. I found out after attempting the install that this is a common problem with aftermarket filters and the Toyota Camry. In this case, it is best to stick with the original brand and model, which can be had for a comparable price.
