A good quality oil for high mileage SUVs
I change the oil and oil filter every 5000 miles in my SUV that is over 130,000 miles. This is a quality oil that is not too high priced. Advance Auto gave me a discount for buying this particular oil and a particular brand of oil filter which is anonymous together for a discounted price. Also, I sent for a free NFL cap which was part of the offer.

I will buy this oil again
Bought the oil/filter package online. When I went to the store to pick it up I was only given the oil. After asking about the filter I was told my purchase doesn't come with. The employee wanted to argue with me about that even when I showed her the website and what I bought. She was not budging on her belief that it didn't include a filter. The manager finally overheard the convocation and gave me the filter. Have never had any problems before and will continue to use the website to order from advance Auto.

Is castrol gtx synblend sae 5w-30 safe to use in my 2010 Camry or my 2015 highlander?
Verified Reply - Solomon
Hi Tom, happy to help you! For your 2010 Toyota Camry is recommending to use synthetic oil SAE 0W-20 and for 2015 Toyota Highlander 0W-20 is the best choice for good fuel economy and starting in cold weather. If 0W-20 is not available 5W-20 may be used. If you add 5w30 to your vehicle instead of 0w20 the performance of your vehicle will not affect much. Your vehicle will continue to run smoothly and providing you comfortable rides. However, when it comes to repair and maintenance it is always recommended referring the vehicle owner's manual for the exact specifications to get better and safer results.
What oil should I use on my 2001 Kia Sportage .0 four with over 80,000 miles on it.

Yes, Jose! This Castrol GTX 5W-30 High Mileage Synthetic Blend Motor Oil 1 Quart - Part # 149D6A is compatible with your 2001 Kia Sportage.
2002 ford Taurus SE, V-6 12 valve OHVEFI engine. 58,000miles, gasket developed small leak 3,000 miles ago but Blue Devil additive stopped the leak. The computerized oil selector at the Valvoline web site could not recommmend and oil, said it either did not have a product or it did not have enuff tech info on the engine in its database. I'd like a Full Synthetic with conditioners for the aging gaskets in 5W-20, but heard that Full Synthetic is "waterier" than regular oil and would leak worse. What do you recommend,. I need the conditioner additive but I guess I could always go back to adding $20 of Blue Devil Stop Leak if I have to
