Carquest XtraClear Conventional 16'' Wiper Blade: Curved Windshield Fit, Steel Frame

My neighbor works for Advance Auto in King, NC. He is very knowledgeable about cars and engines. I texted him to check to see if he had a wiper blade to fit my old beater car, (Lexus RX300) to be exact. a little later while on break he texted me back and had an exact fit, offered me different price ranges. I chose one and after work he came out on his way home and installed it for me. This is the type of customer service that you hardly never ever see anymore. He should be The Manager of that store. If I were a Major Stock holder I would demand him be promoted as such. Anyway I just wanted to say I am happy to call him FRIEND & Neighbor. Thank you and Happy Easter from the Old Navy Guy.

I usually buy other wiper blades from a Big Box Store, but they were out of stock at that moment, so I got these from Advance instead. Usually it's like a 1 minute install, but these were extremely confusing to me. The wipers come with several different adapters to fit different cars I guess. But I was so confused that I had to read the instructions thoroughly. The work okay for their purpose, I'll give them that. They don't stick and streak like some wipers do, which is a plus. But they are unacceptably loud when reaching the end of the windshield. It's like "THUNK"...... "THUNK". You can hear them loudly from the inside of the car. Someone told me once hey your car is making a loud noise, something's wrong, and I had to tell them it's just the wipers. Good value for wiping windows during the rain, but I will NEVER buy these again. They're so annoying that i may replace them prematurely just to get rid of the noise. Most loud during light rain where you barely need to use the wipers.
