Good semi-metallic shoes at a fair price
Staff Reviewer -
Good shoes at today's "competitive" prices. Nowhere near as inexpensive as they used to be though. One big thing that is missing from this product is that there really needs to be good instructions included in the box that tell the installer how to correctly install the shoes. It is critical that the longer lined shoe be installed as the rear, or "emergency/parking" brake shoe, and that the shorter lined shoe be installed to the front, or leading service brake shoe. If shoes are not installed in the correct locations, the brakes will still function, but very poorly, and could cause driver to get into an accident due to a lockup condition that is often caused when improperly installed.

Easy to install and is made very well. Spend the extra $ and go with these instead of the cheap ones.

Not good OEM fit for 96 cavalier

The pads are OK, but needed to be modified to fit in my 1996 cavalier. With the adjusters backed all the way off, the drum was locked up. I had to grind some material off of the back of the shoes in order to fit.

Good for the price

Make sure you check the holes on the brake shoes before you leave the store. I went to install and the self adjust hole where the spring was not drilled out. Took them back and exchanged them. No problem other than that
