There look to be two ports on one end. The oem only had one. Does the unused port need to be plugged?

Hi Sean, I'm glad to assist you! This Brake Hose Assembly - Part # BHA380555 only has two ports. One end has the stamped steel bracket, that appeared to be as an additional port. It is a copy of the Ford # F65Z-2078-CA, XL3Z-2078-CA and YL3Z-2078-CA. To check compatibility, please provide your vehicle's year, make, model and wheel drive type, so I can assist you further.
Is the left for the passenger side?

Hi Alan, I'm glad to help you! If the description denotes left it is for the driver side. The right and left sides of an automobile or the engine are determined from the point of view of being seated inside the car, facing the front (ie, from the driver's seat).
