Inexpensive but works fine
I replaced front pads on my 1996 camry. I've almost grinded the old pads to the metal and they were making horrible noises. The new pads were an exact fit. Installation took about 2 hrs but that's because it was my first time replacing brake pads. After the installation, the noise was gone and the car stops much better than before. Under hard braking, I can feel some fading. That might be because I didn't replace the rotor. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. FYI, get silver-metallic pads over organic because it stops tad better than organic. Trade off is that more brake dust comes from silver-metallic.

Too Early Too Evaluate Properly.
I can not say if there is much of a difference with these frt pads vs high dollar pad set By same manufactuer of similar part number.I used them on my $500 "beater" car,mainly for cost purposes.I normally get an extreme amount of miles out of my brakes,most people average about 40,000 miles before pad renew reqired.Due to my driving habits,I get more than normal.At present, I can not say there is any issue with this product,can only see over time.I have only put about a 1000 miles on product when requested to write this review.I always advise my customers of the options prior to a part purchase and repair.

weaver silver brake pads
Easy to install. easy on your rotors but leaves plenty of brake dust. If you don't mind constantly cleaning your wheels or rims I would recommend this pad for you.

Bought these to have friend install. When I got to friends we found out they were wrong pads and had to buy pads at a competitor store near friends house. Upon returning pads to Advance, they pulled another box out and it had the correct pads within. They refunded my money without question but I was disappointed by the inconvenience.
Did not fit
These pads did not fit. Since I was without a car, I couldn't run out and exchange them so I had no choice but to have the mechanic provide a set for me. Ended up costing me double. Very disappointed.

ceramics warp rotors
purchased semi metallic pads for 97 corolla and 96 honda accord after ceramics warped original rotors on both vehicles and replacement Wagner rotors on corolla after 10,000 miles. Significant reduction in pulsating after replaced with semi metallics. Toyota recommends as oe equipment semi metallics whereas Advance auto recommends ceramics as OE. Possibly a profitable recommendation as motive. Professions suggest ceramics dissipate heat as observed in dishware toward rotor overheating rotor and warping.
