Inferior Product - Shouldn't be sold!
Avoid these brake pads at all costs. From day one, bits and pieces of these pads would break off and cause a loud grinding sound. I would have to tap my brakes several times to dislodge the pieces. These pads have caused excessive brake dust on my wheels that I can not wash off and after a rain my discs are covered in rust. Two months with these pads have totally grinded my discs down to where they will need to be replaced and now, every time I stop, the grinding noise is so loud that people in other cars stare at me. My wheels and discs looked brand new before I bought these pads and now they are ruined. These pads shouldn't even be produced.

Only one pad on inside wears down to metal and has no wear tab to signal pad getting low, so I bent wear tab down some to clear caliper and put pad with wear tab on inside of caliper. Could start just replacing one pad every 30,000 miles and use 4 pads to cover 120,000 miles.

I'm hearing a metallic grinding sound coming from my brakes

Hi, I'm glad to help you! There are 2 major causes of brake grinding. When your brakes are making a loud grinding sound when you press on the pedal, this is almost always caused by contact of the rotor disc with part of the caliper. This is usually because of extreme wear to the brake pads or rotors. Another reason that brakes may make a grinding sound is when a foreign object (such as a stone) gets lodged somewhere in the caliper. When this happens, the brakes will usually make a consistent grinding or screeching sound when the vehicle is in motion. However, I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.
