1 Beautiful Alternator
Well...I'm not sure I would have chosen to write a review of an Alternator had I not been encouraged to do so with a gift of "Bonus Points", even then had I something else better to do... at any rate, I do remember thinking, "This is a Nice Looking Alternator" when I took it out of the box. Haven't opened the hood since, but it seems to be working just fine. I must be getting an aditional Volt or two, I'm not sure, but my gas mileage increased 1.4 MPG during the first fillup since the replacement. Also the Alternator came with a very nice 16 page Illustrated Performance Certificate / Installation Guide in both Spanish and English. I would say, "If you are buying a ReManufactured Alternator, this one is a Very Good Choice." Buying it online saved me $14 bucks!

Spend the extra $20 on the Carquest alternator
Purchased online and picked up in store. Less than a week after purchase the nut backed off the alternator pulley, the pulley came loose and destroyed the alternator, taking out the serpentine belt with it. I tried to exchange the faulty part in store because I assumed they would honor the warranty, but was told I could not exchange it because it was purchased online.

The quality of this remanufactured alternator is great! I could not tell it from a new one. The protective packaging and instruction/warranty booklet were also great. Installation was a breeze and the alternator has been doing it's job for about a month.

This alternator is remanufactured in Mexico with Chinese bearings, but its has worked perfectly. It has been installed for two months. Best buy for the price. I normally don't use the cheapest parts, but this unit had such good reviews I thought I would give it a try.
