Needed a little extra work!
Kit included low noise backings and grease for slide pins. Also included were new slide pin screws... which was a nice touch.
Only issue was that I had to grind the metal sides of the pads so that they would fit and slide properly in the calipers. They were way too tight of a fit.
They have been in use for a few weeks now and provide excellant stopping, no noise, and no dust so far either. They also have no burnt smell after braking hard... cheaper organic/semi-metallic pads can have a strong odor after braking hard a few times.

Compare old to new parts
The pads were bought for a Subaru Forester. The pads fit fine but the metal retaining clips seemed to be made for more than one caliper. One tab needed to broken off for it to fit. The old clips also had the same tab removed. New calipers were bought with the same fit issue. I broke a new clip so the pads were returned. The store was great about the return. So the pads that were guaranteed to fit needed to be altered. This isn't my first brake job, so ignorance is not the issue. Maybe this isn't the company's fault but unfortunately it's their problem. If possible take your old parts and compare them to the new ones before leaving the store. Advanced Auto has treated me well over the years. This isn't a reflection on the company itself.

I ordered brake pads for a 2006 Nissan Altima, order # 98864785. The front pads were part # PXD815AH, but what I received was part # PXD815H (no "A"). When I pull that part # up on your website, it says they do not fit my car.

Was looking at the rear pads I purchased. Same ones as these, but for the rear. The numbers on the pads are the same on 3 of them, but the one pad has a different number on it. Also there's only one of the pads that has a little clip attached. Shouldnt their be two with clips? One for each side. Sorry this is my first time replacing my brakes by myself. Lol. Just making sure I have the right parts to start with. Thanks!
