For 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Ext. Cab. 6.0 Liter V8 Code U.
After 25,000 miles still going strong. Wearever Platinum Premium Ceramic Brake Pads (4-Pad Set) Part No. PNAD785. also change
Wearever Brake Rotor - Front Part No. YH145316.
Also Change factory Caliper Guide Pin-Bolts with
Wearever Caliper Guide Pin-Bolt Kit Part No. H5078. For a Lady to me 4 hours to do.
PB Blaster and Anti-Seize Lubricant is a must for next replacement of Brake pads or rotors.
For a man may take less time to do.

i expected better
i put these pads in a 1999 chevy silverado and what a pain. i had to keep grinding edges, and filing out spots because they werent stamped right and they just fit terrible. i probably wont buy wearever pads again. these are the premium ones, so they will probably last a while, hopefully forever, but if replaced, i will definitely go with another brand.
On these pads, which one is the inner and which is the outer? One pad has 2 wear indicators and one has only one. Other than that, they are identical.

Hi, I'm glad to help you! The inner pads backing plate has two ears on the top of the pad that match up the the brake caliper pistons. The outer pad has a chamfer are the top. I purchased front brake pads for my 2000 GMC Yukon xl 2500. The old pads had 2 silver clips on the outer pad and one silver clip on the bottom side of the inner pad. The new pad Wearever Platinum Professional has only one silver clip on all for pads in the box. For the outer pad is the silver clip installed on the bottom or top.

I ordered rear brake pads for my 2000 GMC Yukon XL 2500. I don't know which pad is the inner or the outer pad. Two of the pads have 2 silver clips. Two of the pads only have one silver clip. I assume the one silver clip is the inner pad. Should the silver clip be on top or bottom. The pads are Wearever Platinum Professional.

If the clips are mounted in the center of the back of the pad then I would guess (without seeing it) that they are the inner pads. That clip will probably fit inside the piston. Hope that helps
I have a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 5.3 Gas - Dual Piston Caliper. What would be the correct brake pads to purchase. I was looking for the ceramic Platinum Professional. Thanks

Hi Tahoe Joe, I'm glad to assist you! This Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads Set - Part #PXD785H will fit your 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Why are there 2 brass washers included with these pads? I would think one is for the bolt that connects the flex line to the calliper but what is the second one for?

I'm glad to assist you! According to the manufacturer, they may have been in the kit by mistake. They do not included anything like this in the pad kits.
