Carquest Professional Platinum brake pads also utilize a patented 4-layer HEX shim, now upgraded with aramid fibers, to provide quiet braking and reduce shim wear. " Better than factory installed pads "
When I ordered the Wearever Brake Pads this was the specific type recommended for my '06 Dodge Dakota Quad cab,4.7L magnum, I discovered that not only were they in stock at my local store, but by ordering them on-line and paying for them in such a manner, not only did I save myself about $15.00 off the normal cost, I also did not have to pay tax on the said merchandise. This is the first time that I've used this sort of buying and for sure it won't be the last. This is a fantastic deal that Advance Auto has included in their sales promotions. The only thing I had to do was print out the on-line sale, take it directly to the store and I handed it to the clerk and he immediately retrieved the item, and after scanning the product. Showing that I had picked up the item, I left with the item in hand. Outstanding Service!!!

Poor quality and noisy
Bought these pads on 7/31/2021 for my 2018 Ram 1500 and got noisy after the 1st month when they got hot. They only lasted less than 12,000 miles. I don't tow or carry any heavy loads on my truck at all. I had to replace them yesterday 7/9/2022. I won't recommend these pads to anyone. My original pads from the dealer lasted me over 40k miles.

I would definitely recommend this product
Great stopping and no chatter with these pads. This is my second set of them and first ones lasted about 55,000 miles.

So after 6 months since I installed these pads on the front of my dad's '06 Dodge 1500, I can say that I'm impressed. I rotated the tires just a few weeks ago and did a quick visual on the brake pads. They showed very little wear.
