This Axle CV fit with no problem
Had replaced wheel hub assemblies previously so removal for installation went well. Cleared debris from Axle Tube with a Bottle Brush and scraper. Used a cloth rag to stuff into Axle Tube and cleaned as best possible. The removal of the CV Shafts went straight forward with no problem. The shafts matched up identical. Supplied with new Castle Nut and Cotter Pin. Axle nut used a 36mm impact socket and came loose without problem. Lube everything before trying to break bolts on disk brake caliper mount and Wheel spindle. Install for both sides was successful and the noise factor is normal when engaged. Smooth engagement when applied and return to 2WD mode is smooth and timely. Good replacement part...would purchase again if needed.

Need to fix system
There are two different options for cv axles for Jeep Grand Cherokee. They are different part numbers, but both state they fit the exact same vehicle, 4WD or AWD Jeep Grand Cherokee. I ordered this one because all of the reviews for the other said the part did not fit. Well for me it was the complete opposite this part did not fit, but the other PN NCV82511 did fit my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee(WJ) Limited 4.7l V8 All time 4wd quadra. I just wish they would get this worked out so everyone would not have to do the run around to get the correct part.

CV Boot touches axle tube
I got this online along with the driver side for my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L with QuadratracII. The driver side worked fine but the passenger's rubber boot was hitting the axle tube. when I tightened down the hub nut. The boot is a 3 rib design instead of a 5 rib like the OEM shaft, making the last rib too large in diameter to clear the tube. Also, the nut supplied was did not use a 36mm socket, but a 1 1/4" socket. I was lucky that I had the socket or I would have had to make another trip for tools.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Rubber boot is not the correct size
As someone else had said, the CV shaft boot rubs on the axle tube once installed.

it's a great replacement and for the price can't be beat. My only gripe is that it uses a std axle nut vs the 36mm metric that oem uses. Not a huge deal but it did require me to by another expensive single use tool,

Great but I really wish it would use the 36 mm nut. This is already a huge socket and one that really only has one purpose and this thing comes with a smaller axle nut which makes you have to buy another huge, expensive single application tool. It's a small gripe but costs $30 bucks.
