Radiator Works. Design Change Causing Instal Issues
Verified Buyer - Submitted 4 years ago
I installed this on a 2006 Hummer H3. My main issue is that the transmission lines that feed into the bottom of the radiator do not fit into the support brackets that are mounted on the radiator. This is happening because the connections to the radiator protrude further out than the original and there is no way to bend the lines to accommodate the variation in design. Why the change? It appears that this radiator can accept both snap in and bolt/screw on lines. Anyways, I need to figure out how to connect the lines to the radiator so that all the stress isn't on the connection points. Only option I have thought of is to somehow extend the mounts and zip tie them on there. This is my only gripe. The radiator is doing great over the last two weeks.

It's been two years now and knock on wood no issues. Wish i could say the same for my water pump. I was so happy they had this in stock. The downside to this radiator is the top portion of it is made of plastic! Yes Plastic! So the top part had a crack in the plastic - it was leaking and I had to replace it. Replacement for my Hummer H3 was pretty straight forward and easily done - there are lots of YouTube videos on how to do it which was nice. Item was in great condition and I installed it easily myself. The reviewer here who had it 'professionally installed' is a soy boy and should not be posting here. lol
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Surprised they had it in stock!
