Fits well, needs some attention.

The fit of the radiator was perfect. The transmission cooler quick-disconnect fittings leaked badly. I solved the problem by brazing 3/8" brake line to the old fittings and cutting the quick disconnects off. A short piece of rubber hose connects the lines to the cooler. I checked the original fittings after I removed them, and the lines were installed correctly. To be fair, the original fittings weeped, so they're not the greatest design to begin with. But everything worked out well in the end, and I'm satisfied.

Not the best of engineering

The upper passenger-side port on the radiator was slightly smaller than the factory hose, it had almost no flare on the end, therefore the factory spring clamp did not hold well, antifreeze leaked without the engine even running. To rectify - used a small worm gear clamp & Permatex. The trans cooler line fittings on the radiator were the worst part as they stood off the radiator about 2 inches. Factory fittings stand-off about 1/4", big difference... Could not use factory fittings in the replacement radiator, threads are not identical. At this point with the radiator in the vehicle, having REMOVED the upper trans cooler fitting from the radiator, I had to work to insert the upper trans cooler line into the fitting, then work to get the fitting threaded back into the radiator. The lower trans cooler line was not as bad because there was more room to work with it. The upper line is short, tight and bends 180°, there is little working space between it and the power steering support bracket. After two days in operation, so far, no leaks on anything.
Great product, wrong application

Correct radiator, wrong transmission cooler fittings. Due to everyday driver, had no choice but get competitor part due availability. Increased cost 35.00!

Ready-Rad works!

love this product so far.
Old radiator was difficult to take out. just make sure you take the brackets from the a/c cooler on the raditor off. And get a quick disconnect tool to remove tranny lines from the old radiator. I took off the drivers headlight and battery box brace to get better access to the top radiator hose.Once I figured that out it was pretty straight foward. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE FRONT BUMPER.
Other then that My car runs cooler then the OEM radiator. Very impressed.
