Carquest Premium Oil Filter: Ideal for Synthetic Oil, Protection up to 10,000 Miles

Compare against the mobil 1 m1-110 ep oil filters and you'll see for yourself that it is the same thing, minus a couple small details. This thing feels so solid in your hand...like a brick. The old Carquest filters were made by Wix but I'm pretty sure these new ones are made by Champ Labs. It has slightly better filtration than the m1-110 BUT is only tested for 10,000 miles, not 15,000. So, unless you plan on keeping it on for longer than 10,000 miles, save yourself $5 and buy this instead. You won't regret your purchase.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your store, which has left me quite disappointed. I arrived approximately 15 minutes before closing to purchase an oil bundle. When I asked an employee about the promotion, they deferred to the Manager on Duty (MOD). The MOD informed me that there was no bundle available and asked which oil filter I wanted. While I was still deciding, the MOD told me, "We close at 9," in what felt like an attempt to rush my purchase. I found this behavior professional and dismissive. I eventually made a purchase because I felt pressured, but I felt so uncomfortable with the interaction. Afterwards I went online just to see that there was no oil filter bundle and saw that there was in fact a bundle available in the advance auto website. After that I was even more upset and returned the item the following morning. I have never experienced a situation where a manager signaled so clearly that my business was an inconvenience because it was near closing time. I wanted to bring this attention as I do not feel comfortable recommending this location based on this experience.
