Proper Form, Fit and Function
I was in search of a new Ignition Control Module to replace the one in my 1999 Chevrolet C1500 Suburban which has been in service for 23 years. The CB1003 is what was in stock. This module is made in China; the original was made in Singapore. The CBC1003 is backed by CarQuest's Premium Limited Lifetime Warranty. Easy enough to remove the old module and install the new one with a 9/32" socket and a little time. Recommended replacement.

I wouldn't purchase this again
Installed this ignition control module in my truck. Immediately got a high voltage ignition alarm. Noticed this is made in China. I returned it and purchased another manufacturers made in the USA. No issues.

Works great. Exact fit.
So far so good, truck runs great. Just take the time to take the whole bracket assembly off and clean the engine where it mounts as well as the heat sink.
