It was a direct fit just had to heat shrink wires and it worked perfectly

I would recommend this product for a two-wire conversion on.
I converted my Ferguson TO-20 Tractor from generator to alternator using a two wire Delco 10si alternator. It required the pigtail for attaching the "charge indicator light" so the alternator could be excited through the ignition switch.
