Buyer Beware: Defective Product and Poor Service
I tried two of these switches in a row on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and both were faulty. The first one had pins in the wrong order and activated switch position two upon connection to the wiring harness without a key anywhere near the ignition . I had to drive to a different store across town to exchange for another. Sure enough it also had the pins wired differently than the harness and still wouldn't send power to the ignition relay. Finally got a part (made in Taiwan instead of China) that WORKS from the store with green signage across the street. When I went to get a refund from Advance, the manager was rude and stated she suspected it was me, not the part, despite the hours I spent chasing that same question. I assure you this is the last time I waste my own time proving that it's the part. I won't be buying CarQuest again.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
