no start condition
Bought this and the carquest ICM to try and troubleshoot/fix engine codes p0341 camshaft sensor bank 1 and also code p0300 random cylinder misfire. The carquest ICM works just fine when hooked up the OEM coil pack, but the code is still present. Next, I tried installing this coil pack. Car will crank but not start after installing this coil pack. Tried swapping back to original ICM. Still no start. Had to reinstall original OEM coil pack to get my car to start again. Electronic part, not refundable. Not cool. Simply doesn't work. WHY????
2004 chevy malibu 2.2l ecotec engine.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
"Electrical Part with Limited Lifetime Replacement???"
Concerning the "ONLY" review; titled "NO START CONDITION" for the Carquest Coil Pack Part# EBE1481
DOES THE WARRANTY NOT COVER A REPLACEMENT FOR A COIL THAT IS INSTALLED & NEVER WORKED??? The mechanic here states that reinstalling the OEM coil pack was the only condition that the vehicle would start under.
I need to buy one of these coil packs, but, I need to know if the Limited Lifetime Replacement works???
This mechanic also stated that since it was an electrical part, that there was no refund? Was that his thoughts, or is that the case with Advance Auto???
