Was wring set for the cat. Didnt realize they had two versions for the car. Took them in to store and they exchanged them right off without issue.

The brake pads didn't fit despite listing an exact fit .
I had to go back to the store with the worn pads to figure out what happened. The original pads had the end tabs centered while the replacements were configured at the bottom. I thought the wrong ones were pulled but the order was pulled with listed stock number as an exact fit. At the store I found 2 different configurations and had to rebuy at a higher price but wasted time plus travel in getting the job done. A word of warning to the "exact fit" description provided and look closely at online photo for verification to part needed.

Do not believe the exact fit store or online guarantee you'll just end up taking your breaks apart and won't be able to change them without getting the right pads . If you look at the pictures below when Staind up the tabs on the ends are in totally different places . And when laying flat and positioned like they would be installed as you can see the carquest GNAD1679 pads will be 3/8" maybe more taller than the old ones therefore sticking out past the rotor and not letting the calliper sit back in its mounting place . If the new rear pads are not shaped / look like the old pads on the left in the pictures they are wrong !!!

Website and store computer lists this as fitting Mazda 3 (2014) rear and its not even close!!!
