With the limited choices available, I would buy this unit a
Motor fit, although it wasn't exactly like the original, did not have metal shielding on the bottom, and original shielding does not fit over the modified plastic molding on the bottom of the replacement blower motor. It has performed flawlessly so far. I'm still leary of the heat produced by the motor without any shielding, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Not an exact fit
The motor connector is in a different position as the OEM motor and therefore, you cannot use the motor shield that came with the vehicle. The screw holes still match up, so you can secure the motor in place without using the shield.
Also, the motor is somewhat noisy, with a high pitched "whine".

Warranty issues can be handled effectively only when you bring the defective part to an Advance Auto Parts store along with your original sales receipt / a print out of your order confirmation email and the Store Manager will be in a better position to assist you with your warranty replacement inquiry.
