Alternator appears good as new. I would not have known it to be a reman. The Lifetime Warranty speaks for itself. The most impressive to me was the convenience. My wife works a job that over an hour away and her car broke down. The local shop would only guarantee their alternator for one year. I logged into my online account with Advance, looked up the part, purchased it, and had it delivered to the shop where my wife's car was. In the mean time, I saved over $50 and now have a lifetime warranty and my wife was happy to have her car back in service a couple hours later. Great Job Advance!!!!

I don't know how to rate the alternator, other than all it did was to completely drain my battery. I put it in, & had it & my battery checked out at the store. The employee told me my battery was a bit low, but that if I drive for awhile, above 1500 rpm, it would charge the battery back up. Well, I drove 100 miles at high-speed, assuming the battery would be all charged up, but when I went to start it, to come back, it was completely drained. My portable charger didn't work, but someone had a newer one and it at least got me charged enough to get back. This morning, after charging up my charger, nothing worked to start my car, neither it, nor a friend's jumper cables & his car. Plus, even the door lock & trump release wouldn't work, it's that drained (using the word d**d, was a no-no). So I now have no way to get to the store and pick up the battery I ordered, or have them check the alternator, so I don't put a new battery in, only to find out the alternator will just drain it. Not very happy with the advice I was given...
