Direct replacement altenator. No problems with installation. Fair Price. Store tested my old altenator and confirmed low output which is what my volt meter indicated. Also bought belt while I was there. seemed like a good value.

Wrong part right box
My sons car broke down 65 miles from home. I bought an alternator on-line, the clerk checked the box that it was correct. I took out the old part. Its now 11pm. The new one didn't match. I went home and the next day I went back with the new and old part. They opened another box and it was the correct part. So I drove another 170 miles round trip to fix the car. Somebody owes me gas money.

Yes - may or may not have a different plug connector though ...

I don't think the transmission affects the alternator - it is on the other end of the engine block. So this should work.

what size socket do i need to remove this part out of a 2006 scion tc.
