The Air Cleaner Temperature Sensor is a vacuum control device that controls the operation of the intake snorkel diverter valve. During cold engine operation the diverter valve directs the engine intake air from a heat stove located on the exhaust manifold in order to provide warm air into the engine to prevent a driveability condition.
