This filter is fine, just be aware its plastic.
This fuel filter is fine, came with two small section of hose with spring type hose clamps. Because the fuel filter has a clear plastic housing, I sprayed wd-40 onto both connection points to just make sure I didn't break of either connection point or the clear plastic housing trying to install this filter. Other than that, it works just fine and can see the fuel flow thru this filter.

Will not fit a 1972 MGB, contrary to fitment listing
Probably works without a problem on other vehicles but will not fit a 1972 MGB although it is listed as an exact fit. The filter to carb line is 1/4" ID on the MGB but the outlet of the filter is too large to fit into the hose unless the bulge on the end is cut off and the end tapered yo fit into the hose.

I bought the filter for my lawnmower. Installed it and it works just fine.
Poor Quality
Have this on my British car that sits in my garage. After two years just sitting I noticed the filter element came loose from the housing and was just floating freely in the gasoline. The result is that the sediment would just go around the filter. It looks like the filter element was glued with hot-melt and just popped loose. Also there in no name brand on this filter. Buy something that will last without an undetectable failure mode.

Other filters I have used in the past, the element falls off and bounces around, this one looks to have some sort of adhesion holding it in place rather than a press on style.
