Hi John, happy to help you! We cannot use same brake caliper for both 1998 Ford Explorer and 2004 Ford Explorer. We do have an exact rear right brake caliper available online for your 2004 Ford Explorer and the part number is 18-4754 and for the rear left part number is 18-4755. The front right brake caliper part number 18-B4758 and the front left part number is 18-B4759. Please enter your vehicle on our website and search for this part to check the fitment.
