Do not buy this part unless you want to be left stranded!
This parts only saving grace is the lifetime replacement! This sensor WILL fail and cause you to loose engine oil FAST. Not only my personal experience but this has also happened to a friend of mine on 3 seperate occasions!

Don't expect this part to last long !
Perfect fit part for 2000 Silverado 4.8L. However I have had to replace it 5 times in a 3 1/2 year period ! Fortunately, the Lifetime Warranty keeps me from paying for another one, yet the frequency of replacing it is inconvenient. When it goes bad, engine oil pours out at the top near the pressure gauge electrical connection and I lose 2 to 3 quarts of oil in just a few minutes !! My only other choice is going to be replacing this with a manual sending unit and gauge

I have topped buying this Carquest part!
This oil pressure transmitter is total JUNK! It has the life span of 12 months! In 3 years I have to now buy my third one and will not buy this Carquest part again. I bought one from another auto parts house in hope that it will last longer than a year. The best one to use is the faxtory A/C delco but they are never stocked and this is a part that everyone needs right away and cant wait for delivery.
