Great OEM replacement
I have read on other sites that there may be issues using non-MOPAR parts on the ignition system. I took my chances since this is an easy to install part. It worked great and fixed my P0340 and P1391 engines codes on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L. It did not cause any rough idle conditions.

Easy to install once you can get to the distributor in a Dodge Ram truck. The name should be changed to Cam Position Sensor for a gas 5.9 liter Dodge engine. When the code came up as a cam position sensor I ordered one only to find out it was for a diesel 5.9 engine and the part I needed is called the Distributor Pick-Up Assembly instead. very confusing. Then when I went to take the cam position sensor for the diesel 5.9 I got static that you can no longer return electrical parts that were ordered online. I had to do a lot of research online to figure out what the part was called and to get the correct one. What a pain in the rear !!
