good switch /bad retaining clip

the part fit fine,
wiring harness matched
the retaining clip fails to fit the hole it goes in to/try to use the old retaining clip its already in the hole
Good switch, lousy retainer
The switch itself is fine. The retainer that holds it in the bracket doesn't work. The size is wrong and it just pops out. If you buy this keep your old clip in place by screwing out the old switch - release the electrical connectors with a screwdriver in the slots on the sides. It's not a bargain if you have to go back to the store to attempt to find a good quality retainer that works.
