I wouldn't recommend this for high mileage transmissions

This product might might work on an application where your NV3500 has less than 100,000 miles. I tried it on my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 and it was about 1/8"+ shorter than the original OE switch. This meant that the rail inside my transmission didn't make contact with the button that activates the switch when you put the tranny in reverse. Buy with caution
