Works wonders
When used as a "pre strainer" on my mash still, this filter works great. Most people don't know that these can also be used on your car as well. The o-ring on one side enables you to maintain a good bite on the filter as you drive, and keeps sand and debris out of your lungs. It does not however filter the smell from your backside, but does not require much lube to fit tightly.

Good filter but gasket is folded to fit in a smaller box
The filter seems fine, but the folded up gasket was a real pain to keep in place. I wound up having to use a bunch of plastic cable clamps to hold it in place, but if you have time, I guess you could flatten it out overnight or use a spray adhesive which I didn't want to do, or just don't use the filter and get the upgraded Lube Locker gasket.

The kit was well made and installed easily.
Make sure to let the gasket warm up to room temp. It is quality material and becomes ridged if left in the cold before installing.
