Not a good Reman
Staff Reviewer -
I originally ordered this to replace the aging steering box in my 81 Chevy. First one I received came banged up in the box but had no visual damage. Went to install and found that one of the bolt holes was cross threaded so had to fix that. Then once I installed and bled it I found that the steering box was bad. Driving down the road the steering wheel would go from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock and not turn the wheels at all. Went back to Advance and had to front the money for a new one being I had already given my core to them. Receive the new one the next day and was refunded my money. Installed new one and the steering problems were solved. Went and had the alignment checked and drove home, I decided to make a few turns almost lock to lock to ensure the box was working properly. Steering box is junk once again! Turned left and then straightened my wheels and the steering wheel stayed canted at 11 o'clock. Turned right and the steering wheel stayed canted at 1 o'clock. I am not sure if Advance just got a bad batch of steering boxes or not but I will be going BACK to advance to get give it one more try before I get a refund and go with another manufacturer.

Exact fit for my 86 K20. Installation went as planned. Provided new "O" rings, although they also came with new high/low pressure lines purchased. Excellent product.
