replaced everything the computer was not needed still keep just in-case the dis fixed it had all new stuff in it don't know what was wrong but it fixed it

This was the last part I was willing to replace in order to try and fix a severe hesitation, bad idle, no power..balking engine. Changed the inline fuel filter, MAP, TPS and this ECU unit before giving up and taking it to a mechanic who diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump in like 10 seconds and...it was..$350.00 later. I considered that it might be the fuel pump but was not interested in dropping the fuel tank on my back with no lift...tried the above items first for a total of around $200 before turning it over to the local mechanic...should done that first!

Bad right out of the box. I spent several hours chasing the problem (3 time re-certified Master Tech.) Module was randomly grounding one of the two injectors in the throttle body. It actually filled #2 cylinder completely with fuel until it pushed raw fuel out of a breach in the exhaust manifold gasket and caught fire. NOT COOL ! The replacement looked like it fell of the truck, as did the first. The second one did function properly. This one cost me time and money. Advance is usually better than this.
