Failed After a Month

The original unit in my 2003 Grand Marquis was having the infamous intermittent headlight-out problem with the relay built into the module. This replacement module worked for about a month, then started having the same symptoms, headlights would go off intermittently. I suspect that when they rebuilt (and tested?) it, the intermittent problem didn't show up at the time. In any case, it was returned and I purchased a brand new one from a discount dealer online that was actually cheaper. It's been 4 months so far and never a problem, so I know the module was faulty and not another problem.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
I would not buy this product again.
I purchased this from a near by national competitor because it was not available on Advance.com. The product came with a one year warranty and a $75.00 core charge. The second time we were pulled by the police we began checking for problems and found it to be defective and not working intermittently. This was 17 months after I bought the item and it has a one year warranty. So I get to eat this $300.00 charge. We believe it is due to shoddy work at the refurbishment center. I would not buy it again nor would I recommend anyone buy it.
