Budge Rain Barrier Car Cover, Grey Size 4: Fits Cars up to 228 in. L, Outdoor Protection

Bought 3 of these covers for my 2 Chevelles and an old Cutlass that I don't have a garage for. They seem to be pretty durable and fit well. I decided to go with these for their "Lifetime Warranty." Time will tell if they are worth it. Happy with the quality so far.

I purchased the small cover (AC63) in the fall of 2010. The cover is a decent value compared to some of the really expensive ones out there, but that is also where you get what you pay for. This cover is good for about 1 year outdoors (in Colorado anyway). If you are using it to occasionally cover a car outside, this could be perfect and could last for a long time, otherwise I think this cover is better suited for indoor storage and protection. If you're storing a car outside for an extended period of time, I would suggest looking elsewhere, and maybe spend some more money to protect your pride and joy. My car is a project and I don't have room in the garage for it right now. I can say that the cover has not yet ripped, but the car is parked in a fenced back yard, so it hasn't really had to withstand wind too much. The Auto Craft covers seem to withstand weather and moisture for about one year. After that, it seems the cover has no barrier to moisture what so ever. After a snow storm in early fall of 2011, I brushed the snow off the cover, as I almost always do, when I looked under the cover the whole car was soaked and the cover was just holding the moisture in. There is another automotive specialty website that sells an outstanding 4 ply cover (instead of 3 ply) for about 20% less. I purchased one from each website to compare them. The one from the other website is much better quality, much more durable and stands up to weather and moisture for a longer period of time. I liked the 4 ply one so much, I bought a second one for one of my other cars as well.
