It was pretty easy to install. I put it in a s10 blazer with a 383 engine and a 700r4 trans. Using factory linkage wasn't going to work. But this was an easy fix. I prefer ratching shifters but none were tall enough for my needs. I do wish it had a indicator as to what gear you were in. A reverse lockout would be nice.
