Warranty Details (4 Year Warranty)
Autolite High Thread Pro plugs are expertly crafted for Ford 3V engines, offering a patented design that ensures peak performance and reliability. Engineered with a fine-wire platinum center electrode and an extra-long special projection, these plugs deliver focused ignition power and extended service life. The ground strap enhances heat transfer, while the proprietary design boosts heat management, fouling resistance, and dielectric strength. Featuring a nickel-plated shell, they provide superior corrosion protection, ensuring durability in demanding conditions. The tapered seat and thread positioning above the cylinder head create a compressive seal for optimal engine efficiency. Perfect for performance-grade applications, these spark plugs are designed to maximize power, improve ignition precision, and maintain consistent engine operation.

Product Features:
  • Engineered with a fine-wire platinum design that provides more focused ignition power and longer service life.
  • The ground strap provides improved heat transfer over standard J-gap plugs.
  • Its proprietary design improves performance for heat management, fouling resistance & increased dielectric strength.
  • The position of the thread above the cylinder head seating allows for a more compressive seal.
  • Designed with a nickel-plated shell that delivers increased protection against corrosion.

I will not buy again. Will buy Champion one piece plugs .
Two piece ford spark plugs are problematic . I bought autolite platinums because of the price. But will buy Champion one piece plugs next time. These plugs are coated with nickle to help with the corrosion of lower plug.

very poorly designed plug.
This is the worst designed plug that Autolite and Ford has come up with. i have been working on vehicles, mostly Fords due to I am a FORD Man for 42 years. When attempting to remove the plugs for replacement the lower section broke off in the block. [...] The manual says to let the motor cool before removing. seems that 12 hrs of cooling wasn't enough. at [$] a piece, these plugs are a piece of junk.

New Removal Procedure
Ford updated removal procedure for the spark plugs are þo have the engine warm. The engine should not be HOT or COLD, from prolong sitting. The ideal way is to drive the car to the store and back. Wait until the engine is warm to the touch. This way is the best to NOT have plug breakage issues. Hope this helps. P.S. There is a special tool to remove the broken plug in the head.
Would definitely recommend these plugs!
