Nice Work Light
Staff Reviewer -
I like that you can throw in your automobile and forget it until you have a breakdown. Even if the batteries are dead you can plug into your cigaret lighter. Plenty of light for a roadside repair.

good concept but not bright enough

provides a decent low intensity light. given battery life, could be good for camping or emergency lighting. good for lighting up a general area but very insufficient for doing any work in the car. ended up using my torch most of the time and am planning to buy a brighter equivalent - probably halogen
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
More than a mere trouble light
Staff Reviewer -
Trouble lights have a way of failing at an inopportune time, whether from being dropped or from having an oil drip shatter a bulb. And what they try to pass off as heavy-duty bulbs are what used to be known as standard bulbs. Fluorescents are better, but still subject to bulb failure.
Not only is this LED-type much more durable than the others, it gives you the option of ditching the cord and operating on the 3 AA batteries. Keep it in the car and you always have a working flashlight.
