I purchased this at my local Advance store on 5/02/12 after looking at a ton of brushes - all of which were much higher in price, and more than I wanted to pay for a simple good car wash brush. I put the brush to use on two of my cars as soon as I got home with it. Using it and dish detergent in a bucket of water, I quickly cleaned a bad accumulation of several months of sticky grime from both cars. This brush is dense and soft, with long enough fibers, to do a good job without damaging paint. The head is only eight-inches long by a good five-six inches or so wide, and fits easily into a bucket of soapy water. The painted four-foot metal handle is also sturdy, and the whole brush is light. The brush head is almost rubber like, so it shouldn't cause any damage from contact with an automotive finish - unless you purposely beat it against the vehicle. The brush head and handle actually have what appears to be very good threaded assemblies. The threads match those on an enxtending fiberglass sanding pole that sheetrock people use. That means this brush will see more use by me - and for more than just washing a car or pickup truck. If you haven't been using a brush like this for washing your vehicle, you'll be in for a treat using one - and you can't go wrong at the Advance Auto Price price for this one. Stop by and get one before they're gone. You'll be glad you did.

This pole bent pretty easy and the brush snapped off. The back of the brush is hard plastic and doesnt sound great when you hit your car with it while scrubbing.
