The info. About the cover said it had a drain hole. It doesn't , the plug is a filler hole. It will make it easier to fill the diff. As there is more room behind .Quite disappointed that there wasn't a drain hole, which means the next time I want to change the gear lube I have to buy another gasket and remover the cover plate.

Internal magnet comes in the box but is not fixed to cover. Looks like it is fixed in the picture. Magnet doesn't seem strong enough to stick to the bottom diff housing. Not chancing it getting sucked into the gears on my 05 Silverado.i guess I'll be doing the diff fluid and cover sooner then recommend again With a cover that has a built in internal magnet. Good magnet to put on the fridge maybe.
