Steel fasteners are heat treated grade 5 bolts. A special bonding agent is used to ensure a rubber to metal bond. Rubber material is mixed to specific Durometer, hardness.

This part does not fit the 2000 Eclipse. Holes for mounting studs are not tapered like the OEM part and the mount will not fully seat.
