Good fitting part
This part does require a few tools that make it easy to install the mount into the bracket, a set of large cahnnel lockks, bench vise and rubber mallet. It does take a little effort to get the old mount out of the bracket, but the new one goes in easy enough.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME -- DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK
So I bought a 09 Focus knowing it needed mounts (I have experience with this model, they EAT motor mounts like every 50K or so). Anyway, bought this mount (bought all three) as had lifetime warranty and I thought this was brand I'd bought before (I was wrong). Long story short, this mount made things just as bad or worse. Whole car was resonating to the engine vibration. Like flying in an old WW2 Bomber. I went as far to check exhaust manifold to make sure exhaust was attached to engine. I actually used noise cancelling headphones to make it tolerable to commute to work. Verified this mount was the issue by loosening all the mount's bolts up and lifting up the engine via floor jack enough to unload the mount. Car calmed right down. Lowered engine back down onto mount (watching mount compress way more than it should) and the vibration came right back. Went out tonight and cringed while I paid dealership prices for an OEM mount and put it on. I kid you not, it is a different vehicle. Engine vibration is no longer transmitting into body. Car is smooth and quiet now. Pretty much like new. Good thing for the lifetime warranty. They are getting this back in less than 30 days. Wish I could bill someone for my time on this...

not what I hoped

This mount has a factory bend on one side, so it will slide into aluminum frame body mount, that bend was not centered and I had to straighten it and rebend it, it's soft heavy metal with rubber cover, very hard to do, lucky I'm a sheet metal worker
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Kills vibes, quiets ride, but requires metal forming

My car feels brand new after replacing this motor mount. All vibrations are gone at idle and on the interstate. I'd give it a 5-star rating except that you have to fold over the rubber coated metal flanges to secure it to the cast aluminum mount.

Successful Part Installation on my 08' Focus SES
Verified Buyer -
My car was vibrating like crazy and my dashboard and console were rattling a lot. My dad replaced this part and that, along with adding transmission fluid, stopped the vibration by 90%. We will be replacing the other motor mounts in the near future in hopes of removing vibration altogether. Thanks for reading.
